Having guided hundreds of guests over the years, we’ve felt very fortunate to have met so many amazing humans from all over this big beautiful planet! We love what we do. At Moose Pass Adventures, we’re all about getting people outside, exploring the great outdoors, and learning more about the environment around us. We believe that connecting with nature can be super inspiring and help people become better stewards of the land.
We want to make sure that our adventures aren’t just fun but also educational and enlightening. Our hope is that after kayaking or hiking with us, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation and understanding of our mountains, our community and the cultural landscape that surrounds us.
We’re committed to preserving the history and folklore of the Moose Pass area, while making sure that our outdoor adventures are accessible and safe for everyone. By sharing stories of the area with each person that comes our way, we hope to instill a sense of responsibility to help protect the land and our community for future generations.

Talented, Fun-Loving Guides Who Put Safety First
Having worked in this industry for as long as we have, we know there’s plenty of places out there that offer awesome trips and life changing experiences. We also know it’s those guides on the front line who make all the difference. Every detail of running this type of operation successfully, both customer facing and behind the scenes takes a tremendous amount of planning, hard work, sincere care and an ability to laugh through it all. We surround ourselves with talented, fun loving people and it shows in each of our tours!
- Our guides care about the wild places, the history and the here and now that makes Alaska such a special place. Each of them have spent countless hours, months, years preparing to deliver a professional tour like they're talking to a group of their best friends.
- Safety is paramount. Our guides are certified Wilderness First Responders and are masters at delivering relevant and thorough safety briefings as well as technical instructions when needed.
- We treat our guides well, they treat our guests well, our guests treat them well... what a beautiful circle it is!

- Our decades of experience guiding tours on water as well as over land have taught us much. We love sharing it!
- We’re not a turn ’em and burn ’em kind of business. It doesn’t work like that here. We believe that by letting you lend us a helping hand, you get a more immersive experience. We become part of the same team!
- We’re a self aware business. We know full well that a business can’t survive on location alone. Our little spot here sure doesn’t do us any harm though!

- From your first interactions with us via our reservation confirmation emails all the way through to our shoreside equipment lessons and thorough, meaningful safety briefings, we ensure you have the knowledge you need to have a safe and fun adventure.
- When you rent from us, we do our best to provide you with local knowledge to enhance your time on the water. When you book a tour with us we provide professional guides with up to date medical training, in depth knowledge of the areas you'll visit and of course a great sense of humor.

Life Outside the Box - A Few Words From JD & Jen Boyle on the Path That Led Them to Create Moose Pass Adventures
For decades now, we’ve embraced world travel. Having guided whitewater rivers, multi-week cross-country adventure trips, to holding serious management roles in the tourism industry, we know the power that adventure travel has to effect positive change. On the flip-side, we’ve also seen some of our most favorite spots over-run and changed forever with throngs of insta-crowds. We vow to do our part, while sharing special places with others, to help instill a deep sense of respect, in order to ensure these places stay wild, healthy and accessible for the generations that will follow.
While we can’t say that our vagabond days are over, we feel very fortunate to call Moose Pass home and we can’t wait to share it with you!
