The People Behind the Scenery

Who We Are

Small-group Alaska adventures shaped by local knowledge, genuine hospitality, and a deep love for the wild places we call home.

Exploring Wild Places with Great People

A small, locally owned adventure company based in Moose Pass, Alaska

At Moose Pass Adventures, we create experiences that are active, personal, and connected to the landscapes we know and love. Our trips range from glacial lake kayaking and backcountry yurt stays to scenic road trips between Seward and Anchorage.

We care deeply about making people feel welcome outside. For us, that means thoughtful guiding, a strong focus on safety, and the kind of local knowledge that helps guests experience Alaska in a way that feels more personal and lest touristy.

The Values that Shape Every Trip We Run

What Matters
To Us

Helping People Feel Welcome Outside

We believe great adventures start with people feeling comfortable, included, and genuinely cared for. Whether someone is brand new to kayaking or has spent years outside, we want them to feel supported, capable, and glad they said yes to the experience.

Sharing the Stories of a Place

For us, a beautiful view is only part of the story. We love helping guests connect more deeply to the landscapes around them by sharing the history, folklore, and natural character of the places we travel through.

Caring for Wild Spaces

We want the places we love to stay wild, healthy, and accessible. The more people appreciate a place, the more likely they are to care for it. We see outdoor adventure as an opportunity not just for fun, but for respect, responsibility, and a deeper connection to the land and community.

Doing Things Thoughtfully

We’re not interested in rushed, one-size-fits-all experiences. We care about the details, from good communication and sound safety practices to pacing, group dynamics, and creating days that feel personal rather than transactional. We want people to feel the difference.

Meet the Guides

The people leading your trip matter. Our guides are a big part of what makes Moose Pass Adventures feel personal. As a small team, we care deeply about helping guests feel welcome, supported, and comfortable outside.

Aubrey
Aubrey is calm, capable, and happiest outside, especially when there's a kayak involved. With Wilderness EMT training and NOLS leadership experience, she helps guests feel safe, welcome, and at ease on the water and trail.
Annalise
Annalise combines warmth, curiosity, and a strong sense of place in the way she guides. After leading sea kayak trips in Sitka, she fell in love with helping guests connect more deeply to Alaska's landscapes, wildlife, and stories.
George
George is adaptable, backcountry-tested, and quick to find the humor in every situation. She loves a mix of challenge, care, and shared accomplishment that comes with helping guests have a great day outside.

Why Guests Choose Moose Pass Adventures

We believe people can feel the difference when care is real. In our small groups, that shows up in the details: thoughtful guiding, good communication, strong safety practices, and experiences that feel personal rather than transactional.

Our Goal is never just to get guests from one point to another or check a tour off a list. We want people to leave feeling welcomed, accomplished, and more connected to the landscapes, stories, and character of this part of Alaska.
